on 2019/05/15 Caterina is participating at a panel at the Center for Architecture "Lighting Landmarks"

https://calendar.aiany.org/2019/04/08/lighting-landmarks-in-new-york-city/

Hosted by the AIANY Building Codes Committee, the AIANY Historic Buildings Committee, and Illuminating Engineering Society NYC’s (IESNYC) Lighting Council, this program will present a panel of lighting designers and architects who will discuss their experiences with lighting New York City landmarks. Participants will also describe their experience with the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPD) review process.

This is an opportunity to learn about LPC’s review requirements and design guidelines for lighting of the interior/exterior of a landmarked building, and to understand of the “dos and don’ts” of the LPC approval process. Our discussion will also clarify the energy usage exemption clause in the NYC Energy Conservation Code.

Construction Update - 61st Street Townhouse

August has been a very productive month at the 61st Street Townhouse site. The exterior brick facade and stucco is nearly complete (updated photos will come as soon as the scaffolding comes down). The sheetrock walls and ceilings are looking great, as are the bathroom tile walls & floors.
